B-Grade 17mm Mahogany Collagen Casing 4 Pack
THIS 'B-GRADE' PACK OF CASINGS HAS BEEN SLIGHTLY MALFORMED OR DISTORTED DURING PACKING AND DID NOT MEET QUALITY STANDARDS FOR OUR NORMAL CASING PACKAGING.
They do not have holes or punctures, and will stuff and cook like normal. However, the casings in the package may appear smashed, bent, or loose in the pack. Casings may be more difficult than normal to load onto a stuffing horn.

The 17mm Bearded Butchers mahogany collagen casings are a great size of casing for making meat sticks. Edible and tender, yet still durable, these casings can be used as a replacement for natural casings and can be cooked shortly. Intended to be hung in a smokehouse, these casings can also be laid on screen in barrel style smokers (like pellet grills).
Each 4 pack contains 4 casing strands. 4 casing strands fully stuffed should hold about 25 pounds of meat.
Compared to traditional natural casings, collagen is easy to use and does not require soaking.
Keep sealed and under refrigeration when not in use. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Casings are READY TO USE immediately out of the packaging, and DO NOT require soaking prior to use.
Maximum Stuffing Horn Size: 3/8" or 10mm
Instructions:
- Load casing onto stuffing horn
- Extrude meat into casing
- Cook in smokehouse
- Cut to desired length
- Once cooked and chilled down, vacuum seal and store fresh or frozen for best shelf life
