This is a great combination kit for processing where you want to keep your knife's edge razor sharp while keeping your meat and food prep area clean of metal particles from sharpening your knife. This honing steel re-aligns the edge of your knife when it gets dulled from micro bends, waves, and nicks, and does not remove any steel particles from the edge of the knife.

A Great Knife

What a great kit. I had watched their videos for a while, never realizing they that they sold any of the products they use, and was amazed at how easy they made butchering look. I purchased the boning knife with sheath and sharpener, and it is by far the best cutting knife I have ever owned.

Purchased for my son and my husband for Christmas. They were both excited and commented on the quality of the knife. Unfortunately, neither has killed a deer yet, so unable to give a full review at this time, therefore the four stars. Will update when actual kill has been made and knife is put to use.
