Love this knife. Just used it to process an Elk. Held the edge nicely and worked great to quarter and separate meat from bone. 5 stars from me.
Have my Grandfathers from his meat packing plant after 30+ years cutting meat it is now working in my kitchen. Bought new ones for the men in the family at Christmas.
I bought 2 of the 6 inch rosewood handle knives to go with my favorite wood handle meat cutters, some are over 50 years old
I am a female in my 50s and am learning how to hunt! I was a vegetarian for over 20 years and got very sick from that diet. I now eat meat every day, and feel fabulous.
This knife came fast, is extremely sharp, and handsome. We got it because we want to process our own deer when we get one. It will also be great for other meat preparation.
My boyfriend thought this knife was really cool and high quality, and was happy I got it.
Thank you for providing high quality products and incredibly helpful information-packed videos. Have an excellent day! :-)
Ultra sharp excellent seasonings- love the youtube vids!
Pleasantly surprised it was as advertised (unlike most internet purchases) and fairly priced.
Love
Love this knife. Lightweight, easily conforms to precise trimming yet rugged enough for clean cutting. Other than Bearded Butchers using this regularly there is one other gentleman from Texas who uses this same type as well and that sealed the deal for me watching how easily manueverable it is. Using chef knives all my life this is an excellent addition and I love the Bearded Butcher logo on the blade
I have had a Victorinox straight blade boning knife for many years but the curved blade is much for effective
Great knife at a very good price, with the Bearded Butcher Logo how could you go wrong!! Holds an edge 2-3 times longer than other brand knives of the same type and size. I will only buy Victorinox knives from now on.
Good knife
Great handle, sharp blade and sheath works great!
This is a great gift for the hunter in your life or anyone who processes meat!
The best knife I brought, sharp and strong blade
Used this knife to bone out two Virginia bucks hindquarters and back straps. Very sharp. Used a steel several times during the process to keep the edge sharpest but probably not necessary. Great knife to remove silver skin and work around hip bones. Highly recommended. Love the wood handle too— no slipping.
Love your guys content, Victorinox knife is awesome and great for cutting. I use it to cut up steaks and lamb all the time. The 6”Victorinox fits very well in my hand which allows me to make very smooth and even cuts. Strait out of the package the Victorinox was extremely sharp and ready to go to work. I received my package in a very timely manner which surprised me greatly lol.
The only con I have is that the Victorinox doesn’t come with the sheath. Doesn’t really make sense to me to buy a good knife then have to turnaround and buy the sheath separately. How else will i protect the blade? So I guess I’ll be ordering a sheath here soon.
In closing I 100% recommend this product to anyone who wants to cut their own meat or just want to look cool doing it.
So I purchased this knife to process my deer. I have processed my deer before with several different knives ,but this one has proven to be the best so far. It held a good edge. I used it when quartering up and de-boning the meat. I also used the same technique as the BUTCHER guys for removing that ole silver skin. This knife made a huge difference in my processing time. Love it and would buy again. I highly recommend this knife to anyone looking to make their processing easier.
Wooden handle 6” boning knife is fantastic. Super sharp, perfectly flexible for tight spots yet cuts through silver skin and thick pieces of meat as though it were butter. Love watching your videos - super informative and introducing new cuts like Denver and Flatiron steaks. Fascinating to see where cuts come from from the whole animal. Thanks!
Exactly as advertised , high quality knife !
Amazing knife for an amazing price!
nice, I haven't cut myself after butchering two deer.
I have 3 of them and either I'm rough on knifes or they don't hold their edge. I use my smooth stick a lot.
Solid built knife and seems to hold an edge. Really liking it so far!
Sharpest knife ever
Great knife that has a comfortable grip with a nice sharp blade that cuts through chunks of meat like butter.
Always wanted a razor sharp knife and now I have one. I use an Arkansa stone for resharpening!
