I have a meat lug that is smaller. The 50 lb works better to get the meat marinated more thoroughly. It holds my large processing rather than grabbing two of the smaller ones. I like the lid to keep the meat cooler and fresh. Construction is high quality.

I bought this because I make deer summer sausage and kielbasa. This is a must in order to mix everything well. I use a meat mixer and dump it straight into the lug, or I mix by hand. Either way it is a huge pain without this. I make two batches without this meat lug. Then made a batch with it. If you make sausage often or just once a year. This is a must have.

what a great product. Saw them on the you tube video and wanted to see what I thought of them before buying more than one. We do competition BBQ and catering and tubs are used for many things. Having the tubs that have lids and interlock are a game changer Keeping them secure is a must and not stacking on top and crushing everything below. Also the communication on Del of the tubs was second to none. Always keeping informed of what was happening and when it would be del. I will be ordering more tubs and other products as well.

Lugs are perfect size and stack great. Best part is the lug liners make for easy clean up. The size of the lugs are too big for a dishwasher or even a larger sink. But if the lugs were any smaller you wouldn't be able to hold your batch sizes. The cross stacking helps for drying and air movement when letting stuff sit overnight in the fridge! 10/10!
