Our Bearded Butcher, high temperature pepper jack cheese is made specifically to withstand smoking, cooking and heating temperatures up to 400°F before melting.

Non-melting cheese is a great choice for making brats, summer sausage, franks, hot dogs, burgers patties, or meat sticks because the cheese will maintain its shape, even while the meat is cooking.

Our high temperature pepper jack cheese comes diced into ¼ inch pieces and packed to allow for freezing and long term storage.

Each package is 2.5 pounds. Made in USA.

Directions:

  • Use 2.5 pounds of cheese per 25 pounds of meat (or 10% cheese weight per meat weight)
  • Add cubed cheese to ground meat after final grind before stuffing or forming
  • Excess cheese can be frozen if needed. Freeze flat for best results.

Amazing product!

So far so good

I ordered pork fat, beef fat, breakfast kits and a snack stick kit. I also got the 6” boning knife during the free knife deal. I have only used the pork fat for elk burgers so far and that went very well, the burgers are phenomenal. I just got a deer and will be using the knife, and the snack stick kit shortly and am very excited.

15lb sausage stuffer / peperoni kit

As an inexperienced sausage stuffer (haha........) this was my 2nd product, I have a small attachment to my wife's kitchen aide that sucked. After having 25lbs of deer ground and prepped for snack sticks I was in panic mode. Thankfully I was already following a bearded butchers recipe and had seen you guys use a MEAT stuffer. Which lead me to purchasing one. The thing worked great and was able to get my bearded butchers original seasoned meat stuffed into casings and smoked.
I did about half original, and half original with hot cheese. Absolutely delicious snack sticks, and would definitely order a kit from the butchers again! Having to freeze my meat while waiting for the stuffer had no negative impacts on the meat and would not worry about having to freeze it again if a similar situation came up.
