The product has changed a bit from the previous Jalapeno Cheddar Sticks. The product itself is great with a much cheesier flavor and less jalapeno bite. I'm not sure if the increase in cheese is overriding the same jalapeno mix or if the jalapeno was decreased, either way a great product none the less(IMO).
Okay to the packaging. I was very disappointed to see the stick count drop from 4 to 3 sticks or total weight of 3.5 oz to only 2.65 oz and the price stay the same. That's a 25% price increase in one pop, that is pretty substantial. I run my own business and understand things go up, but that's a big jump. Talk about "Shrinkflation", that's a tough one to swallow. The new package is also much harder to open. The old ones you could tear right down the side and grab some protein on the go in no time. Now you need to whip out your pocket knife or scissors just to get into the package. Not to convenient when you have dirty hands and nowhere to wash them.
5 stars for the product, 1 star for the shrinkflation and new packaging averages out to the 3 stars I gave.
