I bought this a few weeks ago and it has made my cooking so much easier and stress free. The backlit display makes it so easy to read and it displays temps so much quicker than my old analog thermometer. Works as advertised. Really easy to use. If I had to pick something to change it would be the magnets. They are just a little too weak and I'm afraid they will become weaker over time.

I used the thermometer twice since it was delivered and it prevented overcooking both times. I use probe thermometers and as the finish temperature close (15 degrees) the instant read showed I was closer or at the finish temperature at multiple locations. In the first case I was cooking an eye of round roast in the oven. The second time was a turkey breast in a pellet smoker.
Construction and quality is definitely there. Gave 4/5 because I haven’t had the chance to use it yet. But plan to use it on some St. Louis ribs, steaks and a tri-tip this weekend, all of which will be liberally seasoned with Bearded Butcher Blend Seasoning.

I really like the thermometer. Does everything it's intended to do. It's rather pricey though and I definitely wish it was made in America and not China. Kind of takes away from your branding when all your Blends are made in Ohio and your accessories are made in China kind of odd don't you think
