The Original seasoning is great as is, but go ahead and experiment by adding some of our popular choices like high temp diced cheese or jalapeño powder by selecting from the options. Great for beef, bison, and wild game like venison, elk and antelope. The combinations are endless!

This kit includes:
1 pack Original Bearded Butcher Seasoning (13oz) for 25 lbs of meat
1 pack 17mm Mahogany Smoke Stick Collagen Casings (4 strands) for 25 lbs
1 pack Sodium Nitrite Curing Salt (1oz) for 25 lbs
Everything went fairly smooth. My biggest mistake was not ordering the correct size stuffing tube. You might want to order extra casings. I ended up putting quite a bit of water into the mix and added cheese. If it was exactly #25 it would probably have been fine.
Seasoning is really good but believe it needs a little more seasoning for 25 lbs. The last time I used it I added more granulated garlic and some cayenne pepper. But I think it just needs a little more in your seasoning packet.
I’m in the learning phase of buck sticks. I miss judged the amount of area for the smoking and dry time. That was my fault. Had to add a lot of water to get the meat through that small tube. Worked out great. Thank you.
