This is my family's second year buying from the BB! This year we made the apple bourbon brats and the maple links. The apple bourbon brats have good flavor but alittle to much apple chunks for our preference. So next time we will just not add the whole bag. And the maple breakfast links are tasty but could use alittle more sugar or maple flavor. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Fast delivery and seasonings are very good!
We absolutely loved the 2 DIY kits we recently purchased! It makes for a lot of finished product! We made approx 400+ snack sticks with 1 batch cutting between 5-6 inches a stick and we have PLENTY of packages of the breakfast sausage! Adding the blueberry was an awesome touch!

Butchered the neighbors hog a few days ago. He gave me a majority of the meat because he butchered a hog a couple weeks earlier. Anyway, he gave me a brand of sage seasoning that him and his wife didn’t like. I had already ordered the Bearded Butcher sage seasoning.

I recently purchased the sweet maple breakfast lunk diy kit. This kit was very easy to work with being that everything was pre measured. All I need to do was just mix it with my pork chunks and grind then stuff. It has a great maple smell and flavor but yet it is not over powering. I stuffed 15 pounds into 22 mm casings and made 10 pounds into 2 1/2" diameter patties for sandwiches. Over all I'm very pleased with the product.

Keep the casings cold and you'll be golden. The flavor is on point, not over powering, but sweet and smoky. Made everyone at work jealous when I had them in with some baked beans.
