Our Bearded Butcher high temperature cheddar cheese is made specifically to withstand smoking, cooking and heating temperatures up to 400°F before melting.
Non-melting cheese is a great choice for making brats, summer sausage, franks, hot dogs, burgers patties, or meat sticks because the cheese will maintain its shape, even while the meat is cooking.
Our high temperature cheddar cheese comes diced into ¼ inch pieces and packed to allow for freezing and long term storage.
Each package is 2.5 pounds. Made in USA.
Directions:
- Use 2.5 pounds of cheese per 25 pounds of meat (or 10% cheese weight per meat weight)
- Add cubed cheese to ground meat after final grind before stuffing or forming
Ingredients: Cultured Pasteurized Milk, Water, Salt, Sodium Phosphate, Natural Flavoring, Sorbic Acid (preservative), Added Color, Enzymes, Corn Starch and/or Cellulose (to prevent caking), Natamycin (Preservative).

The first time we ordered this cheese the texture and taste was phenomenal second time it seemed as if it had come in contact with to much moister but still tasted and held together well! We will be ordering again

When I received my order from Bearded Butchers, it was well insulated and the gel ice pack was still frozen. Do not worry about the condition of perishables from Bearded Butchers. I am looking forward to making some venison brats and sausage. I will order again!
Hi ordered the cajun blend, casings and high temp cheese. I have been waiting to use it on a deer. Last year my daughters boyfriend got life flighted to a hospital after a tree fell on him. At the hospital as we waited for his long recovery, his bestfriend brought in some meat sticks he had made with Bearded butchers blends and high temp cheese. If I could I would make every deer I shoot into their meat sticks, they are that good and actually you really can't eat just one. Highly/highly recommend
