As with all of the Bearded Butcher products, the Hardwood Smoked Pork Bacon Pieces are great quality and great taste. As with all of the other products I've purchased here, I'm totally satisfied. I also purchased a few 12 pack rub gift packs for my kids at Christmas. The Rubs are great too. I don't have all twelve, but they are now my go to for BBQ.
I just wish they were closer so I could get more meat from them. Maybe I'll stop by when I drive out to Indy and stop in Hubbard to play golf.
I air fry these pieces and save the rendered fat for cooking. I appreciate that the bacon is not sweet.
I use to be able to find bacon end cuts and pieces at our local stores, but had a hard time recently. Found Bearded Butchers had it at a reasonable price and quick shipping. Bacon was delicious, good flavor, big chunks and thick strips just like I wanted.
